This JVC Reference Seris RS10 projector is awarded the Editor's choice award 2009 by Projector Central's beating the rest of the competition. This JVC is rated 5 star in performance ( Projector Central review) that can deliver extremely high contrast, very deep black levels, and a beautiful sharp picture with pure CRT analog characteristics. They come in elegant, high gloss black casework and fan noise is very low. Contrast is rated 32,000: 1 ; Native,without any iris boosted contrast which exhibit good details in a dark background situation. The unit has a HDMi 1.3A connection which accept "deep color" potentially a wider range color palette. Color decoding is accurate with good balance in grayscale & saturation.
