Did Hi-Fi 4 Sale Change The Display Of The Forum Page?

I just logged into the forum and noticed the ads on the right hand side of the page have occupied more than half the page, hence there is very little space left for the typing messages in the forum section. Has anyone experienced the same?

How is it now? Still experimenting. The preview function of the admin screen is not working well.

It is now better compared to early in the morning whereby the forum page is totally not viewable. I would still prefer a larger space to type messages though. The ads on the right hand side have taken too much space, and since most in the forum pages are only interested in discusssing about all matters related to audio and not buying and selling, in my opinion the pictures in the ads on the right hand side do not need to be there. When I am typing this a huge picture of the Harmon Kardon amp has taken up a lot of space and not exactly doing its purpose. Just an opinion as it's up to the administrators to decide what is the best and most appropriate.

The purpose of today's exercise is to move from PHPBB2 to PHPBB3. The old styles are not working well with PHPBB3.

You are right about the RHS being too large. Yes, it is on the cards, which is one of the reasons we are going to PHPBB3. It will take a couple of months for that to be solved as part of a bigger reorganisation.

One extra bit... the yellow colored text for dealers' ids are difficult to read. May I suggest a darker yellow tone or perhaps another color?

dear admin, the grey color on thread is too bright like my ixos interconnect. pls swap to a warmer color like van den hul interconnect or kimber select ks 1011 to bring out its full potential. tqs

Yeah Admin.

Like the new look of the site.
Everything in life changes so I guess this site needed some too.

Still getting used to new visual on my screen but as my eyesight
isn't too good will need some break in time Would have liked bigger fonts
though.

Thx for your comments. Will try to do something about the fonts later today/tonight... I do agree that some of them are too small. It's really a trial & error exercise in modifying the skins.
