Got this hot from the oven! Looks like Amcorp Mall fast becoming Malaysia's Hi Fi Mecca.

How does the addition of yet another outlet to a not so glitzy space with stores boasting erratic opening hours make a near decrepit shopping centre a 'mecca' for hifi?

The place have turned into a convenient place with high count of hifi shops and plethora of music media available under 1 roof, not to mention seeing lots of hifi kaki lurking around every weekend. Many hifi shops under one roof is a rarity in Malaysia. Reknown hifi establishments opening new branches there must have done their homework to ensure their objectives.

Still a dump if you ask me... Maybe the renowned company has found a new location with cheaper rent than it's current luxury digs.... Who knows? They just might start pricing their goods a little bit more reasonably!!....

This is Perfect HiFi's fourth outlet, in addition to their current three outlets. Will be carrying the more mid-rangey stuff, not the Audio Research, etc. Sonus will be available there.

They do have Sonus Faber there, I saw them on Sunday... sign wasn't even up yet...

Imho, it seems like a store selling Prada, Gucci, Channel etc is opening its store in Sungai Wang type of shopping complex - totally out of place .... With so many prestige brands carried by Perfect Hifi, with the likes of Telos, ARC, Wilson, SF etc, I Believed they should be in the league of those in Jaya One instead.

Brothers, let's not debate whether Amcorp Mall will eventually becomes a Hi Fi Mecca. Neither should we argue whether the place is conducive.

Let's be thankful that we've got another hang out.
