Every time I put up a Naim system against anything else for the same money, thinking that it could do the Naim thing, the Naim pulls a trick that leaves the other floored

The pre-power Naim combo's were more impressive sounding in a HiFi-sense of way (more detail, power, bass, dynamics, blah blah,etc), but I found the the little old Nait's (1 and 2) came frightingly close, without losing in involvement, musical enjoyment.
