Live Concerts/Shows coming to town - 2012

Sweetended Peeps one and all!!
Book now, Nigel Kennedy comes to town one night only feb 7th the magiK date, tickets still available at the MPO.
Then, then then, later in the month, 21-22nd, Laura Figi comes to town to thrill.

Moderators pherps, can we have a column for significant live acts coming to town? I do believe listening to live music will help us all appreciate hifi (...hmm, that sounds kinda backwards to me don't you think??) much better.... hmm, yes that sounds really strange and i wonder how many of us want live music to sound more like our hifi..never mind, never mind, that would be another topic for another day. But is there a column to announce live acts coming to town? Depends on the town you say? Yes, yes i see your point.

Anyway tickets going fast for Nigel. Get them while you can. Remember, you heard it here first (well, actually i heard it in the Star paper, but nevermind, nevermind)

Yes, excellent idea on the column. We can at least have some live reference to our ears. Maybe in the future regular kaki hifi can even get some priviledges to these venues. Enjoy your music and a happy new year.

I WUZ there!!! Me and my 48 year old ears!!! The both of them!!! And my Wife!!

He was late but in good spirits. Dressed the part of a Hobo but he has done so much for classical music just by being down to earth and humble.

And the mic's were turned off for a change, did wonders for the nasty bass bloat at our old Philharm hall. So the sound was trully excellent. Did you hear that snare drum PuchongVinyl? Glorious, no?

For those in the askence, yes, there was The Man on the violin, there was also a guitar, contrabass( that big big violin-like-thing) and a snare drum.

What fun. Didn't see and hifi4sale kaki's... not that i recognize many of yuz. Who else except PuchongVinyl and i were there?

I mean, dudes, come now.... for love of the music, must make concerts, no?

Nigel came to town, and i got to clap for him. Cos he played for me.(well yeah, and a few hundred others who incidentally happened to be there too... )

Can't say I totally agree with Nigel's rendition of Vivaldi's 4 seasons but his style does stand out.

Kylie Minogue is also coming to KL next month. Won't do much for the ears but certainly sweet eye candy. Can't hardly wait.

Anybody knows if photography is allowed at the KL F1Rocks concerts???

Malaysia’s premier vocal/guitar duo, Double Take, will celebrate their 12 years of musical partnership with this highly anticipated series of concerts. This will be Double Take’s first public performance since their sold-out 2009 concert at the prestigious Petronas Philharmonic Hall in Kuala Lumpur.


We are still finalising details on this, but this is what we have so far: -

Hi Bal...i just got this info from Mr Roger this morning and he will inform me about the booking tickets.Once i got the info will share it here .

To all hifi kaki's - Just go and enjoy live music once a while it will support the music industry and motivate them to do more .How good your system also still cannot compare the enjoyable moments from live concerts or performance

Yes bal, snares were groovy! Whole band rocked.

Really good show n the sound was pretty effing fantastic.

Love hifi coz ye loves music, not vice versa.

I attended Double Take performance a couple of years back and it's worth every penny that I paid for!. Both of them are specticular...My wish is that there are some new songs included this time.

In love with them when they start perform at Equatorial Hotel Kuala Lumpur

The Cranberries have reunited and their come back album was on sale yestrday entited Roses.

They are coming to KL for a one night performance onWednesday 4th April 2012.

Tickets are already on sale.

There is a calendar feature in this forum. Can you see whether these concert dates can be uploaded?

If not, let me know, I will try to enable that feature for members' use/benefit.
