Definition of "Reserved" in Items for Sale

Hi guys,

how would you define the word "reserved" for item that put on sale...

is it means that the buyer who asked the item to be reserved is going to buy (95% possibility) pending for demo and to see if the item according to spec and advert....or is it just being a demo happy.

word should only be used when deposit paid and a grace period is agreed by both parties to fully conclude the sale.

Yup, but still some who doesn't really know about the meaning of "reserved" in this used hifi scene. Thus, it need to be highlighted...

if not they just coming for a demo with their own cds and taking pictures of the equipments, reasons ..I don't know.

even after stating for serious inquiry, no time wasting & low ballers pls. stay away...and yet, they still trying their luck.
