What features are you looking for in a tube DAC below $1000?

Hi fellow friends,

We are collecting feedbacks from the hifi community here on what are the key features they look for when sourcing / buying a tube DAC. This will help us and our better understand what the needs are and develop a DAC that suit you. For a more meaningful discussion, the suggested features must be reasonable for a DAC selling price not more than $1,000.

Allow me to write my 2 cents. For me, if ppl looking for a DAC, it is very much an audiophile. So, a DAC must sound good; all the good hifi jargon: Dynamic, soundstage, micro-details, and musicality must be in.

Those 24 bits of whatever... highest, can only be a good selling point. To me it has no direct relation with guarantee good sound.

Oh, remember to have BNC input for digital and a selectable filtering~
