Marantz CD94 MK1 CD Player (USED) SOLD

Selling on behalf of my friend legendary & hard to find Marantz CD94 MK1 CD player.
Can hook up for testing if interested.
Condition: 7/10 due to age.

Legendary Marantz CD94,one of the Icon for "Perfect Sound Forever" when the Compact Disc, or CD was launched in the year 1982.
The mother of CD spieler- CD100 resembled the 1st grandma status when first compact disc player was introduced for "diversified compact disc music"entertainment.
The combination of CDM1/1541 never made any lamed partnership in its day,even time flies,they are still relevant until today.
CDM1 not only termed as "never dying piper" but a BENCHMARK CD mechanism that makes a PERFECT CD transporter.
Everyone who have heard well made 1541Dac[cd player] like the CD94 would be stunned for its sound which is typically analogue, without overly bright and full on Gutsy BASS punch!

My marantz CD94 MKI transport kept having problem with the tray opening. Now the laser just died. I am the first owner, for 27 years. Did yours have any similar problems?

Someone here can rectify your Cd94 issues.
-Tray issue often associates with "loose Belts",change those belts fix it all.
-How do you know its laser died? it could be other electronics related,however raise your question under equipment discussion forum to seek help.I believe you will get your answer there.

The Marantz CD94 is built to last...
Its CDM1 is made of diecast aluminium chassis.
If there is no skipping of CD tracks, then the CDM1 laser has a healthy bill.
The tray opening/closing problem is usually due to the rubber belt.
This is a normal issue to all CD players which use rubber belt for CD tray mechanism.
Due to wear and tear, the rubber belt gets harden and expanded over a period.
The Marantz CD94 is the "Ultimate Driving Machine like BMW"... & a LIVING legend.
This CD player weighs about 10Kg.
The weight contributes to the CD player's stability by eliminating the vibration from CD spins.
This makes the Marantz CD94 so popular and sought after...

This CD player is in very good condition from outside & inside if you see it yourself. It hard to find in used market.
Ebay selling around USD1000 exclude shipping cost which are expensive as it weight about 10kg.
Been service & check by technician before put up for sale.
The CDM1 mechanism been replaced end of last year & it can last donkey year ahead.
