Condition: 7/10 due to old age.

Awesome Philips CD304.

Almost a perfect Analogue sounding Player.It is getting very rare theseday. Better to grab then never!


I found it shown me the best synergy & coherent with all time champions- Bumper Chrome series & Sansui classic series

Hi Boxer,

It is TDA1540 dac chips. Sounded more sonic and analogue in my opinion. Can't complain much about it after 20 years or so it is still good ...of course a litttle bit of tweak using different opamps

I have 2 unit of MK2,none of them using S1. Are you very sure about it?

Correct me[If] , So far the "S1 " chip used only for their CD player --> CD880.

Even their top of the line CD player and Dac [CD960 & DA960] comes std with TDA1541A.

CD304mk2 USE a single TDA1541 which to lukas sounds very RAW!! this is the first version of TDA1541.

Yes it has Digital Output,can be a great CD Transporter [CDM1]
