Brillant machine! I was a sceptic at first. But until I really sat down to listen to it!! IMHO, it's even better than the later Arcam series
The biggest strenght to this player must be its midrange. And I have no problems throwing in all kinds of music into this player (claasical, rock, jazz, vocals) unlike some player that only suit a certain genre of music.
given all its strength, this cdp makes an excellent buy.
High potential CD player!!!

1541s are really full with potential, like Naim that plays all sort of Music wonderfully.
