Commentary:
Nothing much needed to say. The middle ground between Shure's top end IEM and their budget ones. IMHO the best value for money Shure IEM. I've owned the SE535 and 530 briefly, but kept the SE425 for much longer. To me, they are not a downgrade from the SE535 but more of a side-step. They offer a touch less colouration to the music (as opposed to the mid-centric 535). Excellent stage monitoring use as they're built insanely well with my extra long 64" kevlar cable. Hell, these cables are so tough you can use them as a whip at times of danger.

One of my favourite ever IEMs. Neutral, well extended both ends, comfortable and blocks a hell lot of noise. Looks cool wearing them too. People will think I'm using hearing aids.. or some secret agent.

I must say I'm not a fan of Shure..... except for the 425s. I might even decide against the sale and continue using them as my backup to the Custom IEM.

Good condition, 8/10. This IEM is well built, clear and scratchless, exactly how they look like when I got them. Rated 8/10 only because the cable however, being clear, has turned slightly green, but this is VERY COMMON among Shure IEMs, especially in Malaysian weather. Does not effect sound one bit. Cables are removable so can always be replaced. I've always been tempted to buy the cable with iPhone mic and buttons.

Also, I can't seem to find the clamshell case, they're actually still in the wrapper, I've not used it yet!! but its missing, I'll add a 3rd party clamshell case (HisoundAudio's).
