Art Vinyl is the original way to display your favorite vinyl record art and to get more pleasure from the album. Changing your vinyl display is very easy as the flip frame has a unique quick release system allowing you to instantly change your record display. The flip frame is available in both black and white. The frame was designed especially to compensate for any differences in thickness of album or 12" record. This is done by the unique "sponge finger" system on the back of the flip frame, which will ensure that any record can fit comfortably against the front display panel.

With respect to last post, i mentioned that HEAR Records (Singapore distributor for MUSIC HALL turntables & electronics, and ART VINYL; and retailer for New & Used Lps) will be opening in March at Burlington Sq, and i've been receiving emails and calls from interested/concerned folks in the last days asking when is official opening. So i think better clarify before people go down and waste their trip. Now the shop is under renovation, and should hopefully be ready in another week time.

1. MUSIC HALL Decoupling Cork Mat

A seemingly simple lightweight mat, the Music Hall Mat is made entire from cork and is designed to be a direct replacement for virtually any turntable mat. The secret to the Mat's great sound are the cork pads which suspend the record, a dozen small pads around the outside of the Mat and a single larger one for the spindle. These cork pads have excellent damping characteristics and do a great job protecting the record from the platter's vibration and allowing the vinyl to "speak" on its own. An additional advantage of the Music Hall Mat is its ability to "grip" the platter and the record simultaneously, eliminating the micro-slippage that plagues standard felt mats. This gives the Mat greater focus and improves pacing, especially on complex passages or those with substantial low-frequency content.

2. MILTY Zerostat Anti-static Gun (Stereophile Recommended Component)

This amazing little device known as the Milty Zerostat Antistatic Gun is an antistatic generator which has numerous applications, but our main use is to remove the satic charge on the surface of a record. Just squeeze the "trigger" of the Zerostat and a steady stream of ions is released. The magic comes from two powerful piezoelectric crystals and its patented compression trigger. The Zerostat will simply remove a static charge from the surface of an LP instantly. Perfect for use when the rotation of a Record Cleaning Machine and its suction tube build up a static field on the surface of your records. The Zerostat eliminates this static charge with the pull of the trigger. Highly recommended... in fact... this is an essential analog accessory!

Today an increasing number of music lovers are buying storing and listening to music through their computer, media server, or personal music player (iPod). Many are also digitally distributing their music using a sonos, squeezebox, or one of a host of digital music distribution systems available on the market. This is a great way to explore and appreciate music but generally it's done at the expense of sound quality. Until now, music lovers have been forced to rely on the inferior digital to analog converters (DACs) and sounds cards contained in those devices. As a result, their musical enjoyment has dramatically suffered. Music Hall has designed the DAC25.3 to directly address this problem and to significantly improve the sound quality of the music played on these systems.

By uniting a state of the art digital to analog converter (DAC) with a tube output we produce the clarity and precision of a 24bit DAC with the warm rich open sound people love of tubes. The Music Hall DAC25.3 has 4 digital inputs which can accept any coax (s/pdif), optical, XLR (AES/EBU), or USB digital input from an iPod transport, computer, media server, sonos, squeezebox, CD/DVD in stereo transport, or music hall's own CD35.2 Compact Disc Player, and it will output two channel stereo analog.

The Music Hall DAC25.3 features the latest Texas Instruments (formerly Burr-Brown) PCM 1796 24bit/192kHz, advanced segment, stereo audio digital to analog converter. This processor features 123dB dynamic range an 8 x oversampling digital filter and just 0.0005% thd. The dac25.3 upsamples to either 96kHz or 192kHz which is user selectable on the front panel. To achieve the best sound, Music Hall uses an advanced asynchronous reclocking and anti jitter control system upstream of the PCM 1796 DAC. For this system the philips 74HC574 is used in conjunction with the TI SRC4192 asynchronous sample rate converter whose master clock is a high precision active crystal oscillator. The Music Hall DAC25.3 also features a large r-core high current oversize power transformer. A headphone output is provided for convenient personal listening.
