Yarland vacuum tube amps??

hi to all si foo here....do u guys heard yarland tube amp??how u guys think about it??any command?? saw it from low yat tong lee..got so many model there..sum wit kt88..sum wit EL84 bla bla bla....make me so hard to choose...wat we have to know when buying tube other than the sound good???

current use yamaha av n NAD..wan start into tube...hope can get sum info n learn form oldtimer here....thx lotssss...

other than yarland got any other brand n place to choose??coz i know alots of china brand tube amp in malysia market now...price dun too hi end haha....coz under budget haha..thx u all lots...

dunno about Yarland ... but u might find great bargains in the FS section for some s/hand Audio Research stuff. Unless u r looking for s/hand China tube amps.

Otherwise, brand new china amp vs. s/hand Audio Research/Counterpoint/Jadis stuff .... suggest you might get better bang for buck with the s/hand stuff ?

If buying from private buyer, be prepared to budget for some new tubes as well.

If buying from a shop, can "negotiate" some package (e.g. either have a 6 month warranty or new tubes as part of the deal) to go with the purchase.

Since u know Tong Lee , do also check out Octave Electronics in P.J. They also got some china brand amps and stuff. And a trip to Amcorp mall would be good also.
