Stabilizer Transformers

Hi there,

I am letting go my UK made Cetronics constant voltage transformer and Watford power stabilizer. They are very heavy about 38kg and 45kg each. Both are dual wound transformers. I use both connected in series to have an ultra stable voltage. The voltage is adjustable in the Watford while Cetronics provide either 240V or 220V fixed.

The Cetronics comes with 4 pairs of capacitors which will function even if one or two fail. It was designed as such to provide uninterrupted power supply. I have replaced the capacitors (user replaceable) with the ones recommended by Mr. Oh. The originals capacitors can be purchased from Cetronics for about UK$250 for a set of eight. The images attached herein and the actual items are the same except mine looks dusty and old. I will post actual photos on request.

These transformers run hot and hum slightly due to the industrial type transformer design and recommended to be placed outside the music room or at least 15 feet away from your sitting position.
