Slim type component of a Marantz FM/AM tuner of component stereo 50 series.

In order to obtain the stable receiving performance, the servo nowait-lock organization is carried in the circuitry from an office.

Furthermore, it is equipping the electronic touch switch locked if its hold of a dial is released after the servo nowait lock's was canceled and uniting with the best aligning point once while touching on the dial, and facility is improved.
Moreover, in order to correspond also to the office which adjoined the strong frequency of the radio wave to hear, the switchpoint of which a servo nowait lock is canceled is carried independently.

In the dual gate MOS FET and the IF section, a sharp receiving sensitivity, and a low distortion and a raise in an SN ratio are attained at the front end part by building a PLL cancellar circuitry in a linear phase IF light filter and the MPX section.

The muting circuit is carried.
In ST-50, the original parametric muting circuit which operates with RF signal and two signals of DC offset voltage of a quadrature wave detector is built in, and the syntony at the time of a weak-electric-current wave can also be tuned in calmly.

The signal strength indicator of a five-step light emitting diode window which expresses the strength of the signal at the time of a syntony with light is carried.
Furthermore, the tuning indicator which can check the best aligning point of FM reception by light emitting diode is carried.

This is an excellent tuner, very warm and sweet sounding and is in the rare and beautiful .

the set up for pre-setting stations is really easy – when you have a

station that you want just hit Memo and assign it a number 1-30.

The panel has 9 numbers (1 – 9), and there is a select switch on the
left
to bump you up to double digits and access presets numbered 10-30.
Note that on the back there appears
to be two sets of RCA / Phono
outputs, but the second set is actually for a
Marantz remote control system that
