Q Acoustics Concept 20

Hi to all,

Has anybody tried the Concept 20 from Q Acoustics before?

Any experience/verdict with the Concept 20 is always welcome as it seems "bang for bucks".

      Yes, I heard it in KLIAV. Quite impressive. Big soundstage, adequate refinement. But after knowing the inflated price of selling it over here, it is not so desirable anymore.

If I am not mistaken, include the stand, it is like RM3.5 or 3.7k. the dealer also said cannot sell without at the stand for the moment.

Come to think of the quoted price for Concept 20, I cannot help but to relate it to the reputable KEF LS50.

I know the price for LS50 does not include the stand but both could not have come closer in terms of pricing and speaker size for small audio room.

Too bad I missed the KLIAV for this year but lucky enough to secure the commemorative CD.

Wah, KEF LS50 should be consider of different league already, and cost more. Not fair to compare it when the Q acoustic here. 
The KEF Q300 should be a closer match in term of price. Not sure it is available here though.

not a bad one, can refer to youtube, though it will not be accurate but do get an idea of it's character.

Speakers alone wise, LS50 should have no problem "eating" Concept 20 "as breakfast".

But I cannot ignore the fact that Concept 20 comes with a matched pair of speaker stands, where the package costs less than the LS50 alone.

This prompts me to think Concept 20 package might offer better value for money.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
