Quad FM4 - Very late production unit

Hi guys,

It's very late production Quad FM4, with rare orange color 'Quad' wording, amber color display; probably last few before it gets discontinued. Made in England, Huntingdon. 

Excellent condition, only with a very unnoticeable mark as shown in photo. Unmodified, no leak battery, virgin condition :

Quad FM4 is one of the best FM tuner ever made in the 90's, the Quad golden days! It's being benchmark with the much more expensive Accuphase T1000 in 6moons audio, its performance is remarkably impressive! (I used to own Accuphase T-105).

Bump up!

I cannot resist and done the following to bring new life to this FM4!

- Replace mains smoothing caps with Panasonic FC 1000uf50V
- Replace secondary smoothing caps with Elna Cerafine & Panasonic FC
- Replace battery with Germany made Varta

It's now singing live in my setup!
