Haha...you're absolutely right.

I think the timezone was changed during one of those routine forum maintenance/upgrade exercises.

I just made a post reply @ 8:50AM today
and found that it was timed at 3:42AM
instead.

Check your Profile settings. Every user's setting can be customised. Most likely, there is an addition to the time zone table during the forum engine upgrade exercise, resulting in us losing our Kuala Lumpur timezone preference.
