Very Good Sound
the bass is great when positioned close to rear wall.

If doing a blind test you will get wrong the sound is from floorstander, really.

The AR M series mate perfectly with the NAD Power Envelope series 2100,2400,2600 power Amp for two channels music listening.

They are very, very impressive, especialy in the mid range, and for a 4 inch woofer, not bad at all.
I had heard that the M1 had a tendency to be too bright, but I think the M.5 was a improvement over the M1 with more midrange, more bass and a little less highs.
