These Bose outdoor speakers feature an Articulated Array® speaker design. Inside each speaker are three 2½" full-range drivers arranged to deliver full stereo sound across a much wider area than conventional outdoor speakers.

For more than ten years we've been testing Bose environmental speakers against snow, rain, salt and temperature extremes of 158º F (70ºC) to -40º F (-40ºC). For the boaters, we even put them through 1,200 hours of salt-fog testing, which is twice the demanding Marine Industry Standard. And they come with a five-year limited warranty.

I have had these speakers for 6 years. Never once have I taken them down for winter and they work perfect. at low volumes they don't boom bass so you can listen to all night however you can crank them up and get great sound and bass from them. Bose makes a great long lasting product for a great price
