Olflex is a 3 core stranded wire wrapped with braided aluminium sleeve. Under close scrutiny, it is not impressive by any audiophile standard. It is as simple as if one can obtain the cable from any hardware shop at the cost of nothing.

Olflex is not meant for audiophile application. It was not meant for this little specialised segment. But what it is for seems larger as far as it is intended to be used. It is for critical application where it cannot fail by any means because any failure in its application will bring about a catastrophic result to the community at large.

For that little money, I took a small step to try it. The result is more than positive and it did trashed some of the better known brands in the audiophile world. I would put it as ...a no nonsense cable. Frill free and a plain jane cable. It performs as intended.
