You did not state your requirement (other than it being an integrated amp) or your budget, both infor which is important to potential sellers. Also, the items you suggested (roksan, copland) are quite pricey when new. So it might be helpful to others if you do list down the criteria (features of the int amp like nbr of inputs, etc) you need and an indication of how much you are planning to spend.

Anyhow, other than that, I myself do have a couple of items. I have a Luxman M-383 power amp which is rated 200W/channel. It comes with individual volume control (1 for each channel) so if you plan to have only 1 source, it might be a consideration for you. Asking price is RM1100. Alternately, I also have an Audiolab 8000A integrated amp. Asking price same as above. Both also I would rate around 7.5/10 in condition - no manual, no box. I am using the Audiolab in my 2nd system as a preamp.

for 2k i dont think u can get primare,roksan or copland. i spent >10k for my roksan caspian cdp and copland integrated.

btw, if u still interested in those brand, u can get primare A20 at RM3299 or Copland CSA8 at RM3599, both are display unit at CMY.
Or else u can try Exposure 2010/2010s (2k++ i think)

I think CMY is overpriced for their demo units. Primare A20 should be around 2200-00 only right now & copland +|- 2500 judging by old posts on hififorum.....

Im still keen on a midrange amp so i can upgrade speakers in the future.

EG. for the amp - if i add another RM99-00 i can get it from CMY!
CD Player - I can pick up for RM1800-00.
Not sure about the ProAc - so wont comment.

In line with previous posts on the old hififorum, the price for the I21 is <RM2400-00 and CD about RM200-00 cheaper.

Im looking for a good deal, because it is a substancial investment for me(hard times aye)

Do not compare dealer price and consumer price. dealer will always have a standard retail price, but consumer will sell at any price they want. if they got a big wallet and want to let go their thing faster maybe they just ask for 1k for a 4k item, n u r very lucky if got that one.

Its 1st hand around 14 months old, not sure have to check the receipt, in very good condition I would say 9.5/10 not a single scratch. It is better rated than the Primare I20 by Hifi magazine. My best let go price is RM3,000 cash. I am also letting go my Rega Appolo CD player at RM2,900 in a very good condition 9.5/10 still with a balance few months warranty. If you are refering to the Kandy L3 which is the older model, it retails for about RM3400-00 now. So i would not be interested.

If you are refering to the K2 for RM3000-00, then i would jump on it. Please advice which one you have.

Also, i see the Primare i21 going for 3200-00. Is this a good buy?

I am refering to the L3. I bought it for 4.2k when the exchange rate was at RM7 to 1 pound sterling. A brand new L3 for 3.4k is a bargain actually. Better grab it, its much better than Primare i21. Can really rock especially when you add in the Richard Grey Power Company's (RGPC) AC filter. With the RGPC it will sound like a very expansive system something like 4 times the price. You can get RGPC from CMY at BB plaza. I have 2 of the RGPC in my system. Going to add 1 more to make it the ultimate system. Try not to use the silver interconnects, unless you like forward/bright sound, the L3 better suited with pure copper interconnects. I am using the Transparent MusicLink Ultra and the result is great. If you are looking into any better improvement from the system that I suggest, than you have to think an amp that will costs you like 20k plus such as the pass labs, bryston etc. If you still want my L3, perhaps I can let it go for RM2.8K but don't think you would.

Are you sure you can get a new Roksan Kandy L3 for RM3400 now? There are not many dealers selling this item. If so, I may know someone interested to buy at that price.

Hi mate. Since you are having your first official meeting at highway laser, you should ask that "someone" to visit them in advance.

They have new sets for RM3600-00 and an open box set - L3 IA and MK3 CDP (which i was assured is flawless) at RM6500-00 as a set, which may be a good deal....

However, they have yet to bring in the K series....

I know that Hi-Way Laser can be quite competitive, but that is not the point, because as you say, they are selling new sets for RM3600.

I am interested to know where & when (now?) you can find someone that retails the L3 for approx RM3400 as you claim, because that is a really good deal, which if true, is certainly hard to come by and worth recommending to my friend, who is considering that or a used Naim NAIT 5i.

I sold my Roksan L3 and Rega Apollo already. I bought a brand new Pathos Logos and Classe cd player. The sound is really awsome. I am happy.

As mentioned in my post on HLaser, Rm6500-00 for the open box pair, and individually RM 3400-00 each. I believe they are a retail outlet ?

Brand new at RM 3600-00 at HLaser....So perhaps with some luck and bargaining, RM 3400-00 isnt that far off the mark....
