WTB:- Used AV Receiver

Looking for a unit of used AVR to kick off my venture into HT system. Anyone is planning for an upgrade?

My budget is below RM1000, preferably with HDMI and auto calibration, as I'm still new in HT settings.

I bought my HDMI Cable for projector is about RM1000.

Reasonable good AV amp with HDMI and auto calibration should be around RM2000 for used unit & RM4000 for new units.

If any one can get below RM1000 that is really good bargain..

hi, thanks for the info, but i'm looking for a basic unit so i though rm1k should be enough, as i found out some previous sales e.g. rx-v661 only sold for less than rm1k, as well as a brand new denon 1610 only costs slightly more than rm1.5k, so those 2nd hand ones should be cheaper.

so if anyone is planning to upgrade their receiver, please let me know ya

hi atah, r u using bluray for source??? if just normal dvd u can get boom with older model avr with better sound from current avr product line...new avr is actually more into new audio codec for HD purpose..as a chewkw said,too dificult to get within the budget

the denon avr1905 cost you less than RM1k. that AVR is value for money. try to look for it here.

I have 1 unit Used Yamaha RXV1700 AV Receiver to let go
which I think have all basic function that you need, eg.
HDMI and Mic for auto calibration. Let me know if you're
still interested. Set complete with 2 remote, manual and
mic for auto calibration but there is some scratches on
top of the casing.
