The Avalon Radians of the second half of the nineties were then and for many years to follow, the speakers of reference. Important in the design, implementation and results achieved which can be summarized in the following points.

Excellent reconstruction of the acoustic scene , substantially neutral timbre only slightly veered towards amber hues, high degree of musicality, and excellent overall quality of reproduction thanks above all to the pneumatic suspension, which provides a slender and well-articulated bass.
The Radians were the first speakers designed to be paired with the Spectral / Avalon / MIT reference system which, at the time, was a highly sought-after trio for the overall balance it achieved.
Over the years the Spectral amplifications , while excellent, have often been replaced by other electronics. The important thing was never to forget the search for neutrality in the amplifications to choose. MIT cables have also given way to more modern, streamlined, dynamic and airy cabling.
