This is only for serious Siltech fans... perhaps someone who's also in the same age group as me... or older Laughing as these cables are more than 10 years old already.

Former top of the range... EXTREMELY RARE... these cables are made of pure silver and 24K pure gold conductors... yes, pure gold, not gold plated, gold filled, etc, but pure gold conductors, which you can pull them off and sell in pawn shop Twisted Evil at good price!

Cost a bomb when new... now selling at RM10,000 (still a small bomb, I know Shocked ). It's 5ft long, terminated with Siltech's very own pure silver SP-003 spades. Good condition and comes with original metal film casing and papers.

Hi bos,
I read in Salk Sound Forum, gold is not a very good conductor.
The best is silver/rhodium 99+%, second red copper(pure copper) 97+% then gold 95+%.
Normally banana pluq or spade is gold plated to minimise rust(oksida) after burn in.
Last time I also thought that gold is the best conductor.
More discussion could be read in salk sound forum about the best audiophile system in the world.
