U can purchase a NEW REGA P1 / P2 / P3 (non colour / in built power supply ) below the 2K budget of yours and maybe with a phono stage ? Unless you are looking at a Rega P3 colour.
Check out the TT's at Asia Sound at AMCorp Mall, KL.
Maybe a weekend trip down....u can call Mike Lim at 0162077090
