If you're looking for cheap2 (I don't know whats your definition of cheap2?)
Go Pasar Rd, Look for Behringer phono stage, RM120 more or less.
Otherwise, DIY one. Google for VSPS phono stage, Less than 50 bucks for parts.

Its KS Electronics located main row of old shops (upstairs) at Jln Pasar, they sell wide range of Behringer audio and PA products. Ask them for the phono stage. Packed in a plastic package and alongside other audio and music accessories.
Yes, there's a mall there, selling all sorts of electronics, car audio, video equipment, all sorts lah.

Personally, I don't think much of that Behringer phono but its cheap all right...if thats what you insist.

thanks a lot for the info. my LPs are old stuff, love it for the imperfection and a bit crackling, as they say, nostalgia. so behringer should be enough for me HEHE
