Carver 4000T preamp & Music Reference RM9 power amp (Used)

Carver 4000T Pre was top of the line with phonestage with lots of control RM1000,
Music Reference RM9 Tube Power amplifier 100watts p/c Hardly see at used market. Use 8 KT88 tubes and 4 6dj8 tubes. Excellent condition Tubes used about 50 hours, with Baisand balance control for long lasting tube life.

how old is your rm9?

It is about 15 years, But it is hardly used and the condition is 8/10
looks like new. With Manual but no Box.

no doubt from picture it looks good, bit old but looks old. ever service the amp before? is it a point to point circuit with minimum existence of circuit board? i'm actually looking for a conventional tube amp. definitely not into the so called new tech tubes tech.

Yes it is point to point circuit with minimum circuit board, Once you listen to it you will enjoy the music. It has the Bias adjusting screws and balance screws. where most to the tube amplifier does not have. It does not look old stilll 8/10 condition

Yes it is a bit old ,was top model in the 80s was selling in Singapore about S$2500 at that time.
