Carver TFM 45 Power Amp Empty Carver TFM 45 Power Amp

Just picked up in the used market a Carver TFM 45 power amp in excellent condition. Connected it to a diy tube preamp and driving a pair of Ruark Sabre MkI bookshelf speakers. Was pleasantly surprised about sound produced: very detailed, warm with big sound stage.
I've been trying to find out when this unit/model was produced without luck. Anybody here knows when this model was released/produced? Also, hardly any reviews about it. Anybody here with experience and impressions about this amp?
