The " Alpha Plus" is a highly regard 1541Disc player i ever used.
Dual transformer configuration with one dedicated for an analogue section. Audio board is well isolated far from transformer,least harm by transformer vibration.[Cleaver design,same concept just like Naim CD2/CDi/CDs [ springs loaded] diminished the effect of any sort mechanical vibration .

This is a very serious sounding player,should be able to sounds as good as CD94/960 if not Better! the sound is very refined and musical.

CDM4 is another wonder laser mechanism hard to b beaten ,cheaper to source than CDM1 ,tahan Lasak! Play all pasar malam CDs ,CDr/w,CDr with ease.

With a simple tweak i had it beaten the Meridian player CD206[ 1541 single crown] its was exactly Day n Night difference ..dont bite my word really--> Go For it!!

i am respect this showcase!
That has always been the traits of 1541. It just effortlessly draws one into the
music and forget about the painting..
The 1541 + CDM4++were the heydays. IMHO those were the best selling beast like the Nad3xxx.
In the context of the 80,1540+Naim CB,many could just
imagine what could have happens at that time. But maybe the old birds know better,They have strong sonic characters which translates to strong musicality that can command the listener to forget to come home.
