This is a flawless record featuring a great interpretation of even greater music. Highly recommended if you have even the least interest in Shostakovich or Richter or even if you simply want a record that captures a true-to-life piano sound. My only regret is that it doesn't include all the preludes and fugues, but that's how it was recorded way back when.
