Hi all,

Putting up for sale again my recently recapped and serviced Pioneer SX-1280 vintage receiver/amp.

This is a monster amp with 185W of pure power. Drives anything out there, both speakers and headphones (except for Stax of course). Similar to its sibling, the SX-1250, these units are hard to come by. I bought this off a collector in Singapore, initially to drive my Hifiman HE-6 but have since sold off the headphones and I don't have a speaker set up so this has to go too.

Condition : 7/10 (due to age and a broken cooling fin at the rear)
Price : SOLD

I've not heard a 550W power amplifier and i only used the Pioneer for my headphones - the Hifiman HE-6, one of the toughest, most insensitive headphones to walk the earth and the Pioneer tamed it, period.
