Actually, the alerts go out to all who participated in the particular thread.
It's really better this way as Paul may have decided to quit negotiating for the
unit early on.
It's gives others an opportunity to follow up, also advantegous to the seller who can sell his unit at the best price.

Just my humble opinion.
