DLS D3 is a floor-standing loudspeaker designed for home theatre systems and hi-fi applications. The new edition has a cabinet in black satin finish. 
 
The priority was to achieve ultimate sound quality with deep bass tones from a slim speaker design, just as for the T3 series. 

The exceptional performance of this speaker is a result of advanced speaker-design skills and unique driver technology. 

D3 uses the same "transmission line" technique as T3, but with a cabinet of MDF instead of aluminium.
