《A note to Malaysian audiophiles》

Perhaps you misconstrued our true intentions. We do a Tsai chin tribute not to challenge her to see if maymow is better. It is a tribute to pay respect in a Malaysian way. One is a 60 year old veteran and another is only a 30 year old budding artist, how to compare?

But in terms of jazz musicianships and arrangements, I think you know who is definitely better. Jonathan lee zong Sheng engages all Malaysian musicians for years. Taiwan's award winning Hokkien Queen came to malaysia to record her latest album. Too many examples to list.

We fully understand the adage "a prophet is condemned in his own country" but we hope you do open your eyes and ears to what malaysian artists can do. One day when they make international headlines, you will be proud of them too.

Chinese has a saying "長他人志氣 滅自己威風",just don't be like that.

Sekian, terima Kash.
