The Aragon Aurum is an accurate and high-quality pre-amplifier that boasts numerous features. It has a massive power supply, having more than 50,000 micorfarads of storage capacitance in the Ingot (the power supply unit), more than most power amplifiers available on the market. The pre-amplifier's unique, carefully-designed circuitry allows the user to customize the power supply to the signal path circuitry, and also eliminates crosstalk contamination of the source signal. The Aurum allows for both single-ended and balanced operation, and in balanced mode performance is enhanced when the pre-amplifier is placed at a distance away from the power amplifier. Considered to be the finest preamp made by Aragon, the Aurum is sure to provide the user with many years of listening pleasure.
