NHT's Classic Two may look like a bookshelf speaker, but it produces the kind of high-end sound with a grand sound stage that almost have you listening to a speaker several times its size. Like all Classic Series speakers, the Classic Two features an acoustic suspension (sealed) enclosure design. This means it uses air — nature's most perfect spring force — to control the woofer motion, allowing for clean midrange and low distortion. It provides plenty of strength to let the 6-1/2" polypropylene woofer rock out without adding any unwanted resonance to your music or movie soundtracks. The sophisticated 1" aluminium dome tweeter is set in a tiny bezel that allows the tweeter and woofer to be placed very close together. The result is exceptionally even on- and off-axis response point source response.

This speaker features a beautiful, curvaceous cabinet made of very high quality dense, rigid MDF. It's covered in eight layers of high-gloss paint and two layers of clear coat that are hand-polished between each layer for a lasting black piano finish.
