Think for the combination you want, need to spent 5k or slightly more as Malaysia prices are not the same as overseas.
Better go listen to the speakers to check if you like the sound. The KEF are a lifestyle speaker therefore are considered not as good as proper speakers at the same price-range (Which some will think otherwise)
I believe most will match the KEF with Denon or Marantz.

There are always better choices around.. but all depend on $$$$$.

If not fussy, might as well get one of those off-the-shelves HTiB for 1/2 the budget.

You say your sister wants the system ? Now, this is not to stereotype women but I am fairly sure if you can find one of those wall hanging speakers, e.g. James loudspeaker or other alternatives, your sister will be ecstatic and will snap them up without thinking. She may even be willing to pay slightly more. They are not without logic you know. Ever since I changed my boston acoustic floorstanders (used as main speaker for my HT system) for a pair of entry level wall hanging James, I have really appreciated the neatness and unobstrusiveness of wall hanging speakers. For a HT system where ultimate sonic accuracy takes a back seat to an exciting dynamic sound, wall hangers cannot be beaten !
