The Build quality on the TriFX is exceptional, it all leads up to a top quality and reference grade product, even the weight of each speaker gives you satisfaction that you know there is some serious magnetic structures held within the beautiful black gloss exterior.

Very solid build quality, heavy and superb performance compared to many other newer series among KK or any other brands now.

This Quattro array from Kreisel Sound, the company helmed by Ken Kreisel (the K in the original M&K) and distributed in the UK by L Sound, is the latest and most advanced iteration of the man’s very own take on speaker design. And it is probably unique in-home audio. A system of absolute excellence that covers all your home cinema needs, from slicing highs of great accuracy to bass that makes you believe a Bugatti 'space car' has just crashed through your living room. More on that later.

The TriFX cabinets feature a 3in driver on each flank, as well as the full complement of drivers (a 5.25in mid plus four tweeters) to the fore. Depending upon the jumper position, you can choose between the trademarked TriFX mode, which is a side radiation-plus-front output to give dipolar surround with focus as well; classic dipole mode with the front drivers silenced; or direct front mode with the side drivers silenced. However, I feel you would really buy these to make use of all their talents and thus stick with TriFX.

KEN KREISEL more or less invented the concept of surround sound let alone speakers, so where should we start on this type of review but what better than a little bit of history into what Ken has invented or helped invent over the past few decades of his career.

Ken brought the first Surround Sound system into Home Cinema back in the mid 90’s when Dolby first brought us DD as it was then AC3 5.1 which was conceived using Kreisel speakers, it was only in its early infancy and DTS was not even a consideration but Ken was way ahead of the game when it came to speaker technology and his Sat/Sub systems were the perfect partners for what every Home Cinema enthusiast dreamed about, he also brought the first THX certified system to the masses with the stunning S150THX system which also included the much talked about Tripole technology that Ken pioneered, this is the very first true surround speaker to grace our Home Cinema and one of the finest too.

Condition: 8/10 due to no boxes available anymore, anyhow the speakers are in good condition.
