Signet SL280EX Floor stand speakers

Smallish two way floor standers from Signet. 
Made in USA. 
1 inch tweeter and 8 inch mid-woofer with double rear firing port ports. Unique diffraction foam for tweeters. 
Pleasently surprising combination of mellow (British?) midrange & highs with thumping (American?) Bass. 
Excellent sound for the money.
Comes with grills but no box or manuals. 
No spikes (some spike nuts damaged). Signs of wear & use such as uneven corners, peeling veneer etc. Not for those fussy about looks. 
Colour: black woodgrain. 
Biwirable (recommended). 
Functions and drivers: 8 (due to age)

Although Signet recommends minimum 20W amplifier, these comes alive (especially the Bass) with higher power amplifiers.
