Is AE Aego T worth getting today?

Is AE Aego T worth getting today?

Hi Sifus,
I'm new to this forum, just discovered
I'm planning to upgrade my crappy PC speaker for a real amp & speaker combo. This is for a pretty small room, so I am only considering Sat+Sub systems. Reading through reviews, it seemed Aego T is highly regarded, especially the price have come down pretty significantly almost half of what it was used to be sold (RM4.8K to RM2K+). My only concern is the reviews are probably 4 to 5 years old, so is the Aego T still considered among the best in it's class? I'm willing to shell out rm3K max for speaker+sub systems alone. i'm using this system for both movies & music. Any advise from former user would be highly appreciated.
