Normally Marriot Hotel will do some Teh tarik and snack counter at the terrace area..i cant really remember which floor...we can utilize that area for our chit chat corner...is good also to know each other in person among blogger.....cheers

OK Old fren HiFi4sale, mamak stall I sure be there. Early early, I will order the biggest prawn and crab...and fish roe and daging and kambing. Got people belanja.

Thanks Haha..you sure??? Mamak store prices in Bukit Bintang sometimes higher than hotel prices. I think Marriot Hotel better lah, got aircon and more space.

Saturday or sunday should be ok for me...

vs126 - snack counter that organize by marriot hotel is open air located at terrace area..there is no aircond laaa...if u want to belanja us at marriot coffee house is a pleasure over there sure got aircond hahahhahaha.....if i not mistaken set of tea break is less then Rm10 (terrace area) or any mamak shop also will do...

I am/plan to be, there on Friday, whole day. I prefer that as the crowd is less. The main issue is this year I want to check out AV Receivers so I will be staying much longer at those Onkyo, Pioneer, etc exhibits plus HiWay laser and CMY. I hope I can find the time to drop by. But Saturday or Sunday I am out as I have to work on Saturday and I am attending a charity event on Sunday. See how la.

I had lunch with my hifi fren 1 particular year.....it was about rm25 per head!

Which area uncle vic ?....my self just had coffee and sandwich (set) i dont know about other meal type..

Last year I sat in the open area and had fried rice. With drink, the total cost was almost RM20. So it is not going to be cheap !

Buy one fried rice and one drink and then share lah with the group hehehe.

It was at the terrace coffee house(as mentioned), that we have a tuna sandwich and a cup coffee(unless this is not call lunch lah). Maybe this year go to the food stall outside the hotel instead.

Unker vic, it is still called 'lunch' , just that it needs to be qualified as 'rich man lunch' !

Maybe this year go 'chat mui'.......teochew porridge at the food stall outside the hotel lah............

Ths year I won't be driving for sure, will arrange friends to drive me to and from the hotel, and if I'm up to it going this year. If not I'll be at home with my 'mini show' for the out of town visitors to the KLIAV show. By popular demand ma.

Heheheheh, that's the price of food in the bintang walk area for us ! I suppose the idea is that if we can afford to blow thousands of ringgit on equipment then RM25 per head for lunch is considered 'OK'.

I have never tried it but I assume we can leave the show and re-enter anytime we like right ? Or does the ticket gives us only a 1 time entry. All the time I just pay, go in, and walk till its time for me to leave (usually around 5pm). Ideally I would prefer to save the RM25 to contribute for my music buying spree and go out to a store and have a more down-to-earth (pricing wise) lunch.

This year should also be better as I should have a place to store my stash. Previous years I really suffered lugging my LPs all over the show.

BTW, I have something on my mind now, that we may want to help more people into the hobby. Will share more as things are clearer.
