Re: Hi-Fi shops in Korea
For future Hifikaki planning to visit Korea..
Best to visit YONGSAN JEONJA BUILDING in Seoul near by "Electronic Street" 2-floor dedicated for Hifi. The floor itself consist around minimum 25 shops side by side very very convinence. Most of them selling mid to high-end system, a huge LP store as well but not much of accessories.
Hope above help someone in future..

Anything interesting there or worth buying? I know the voltage is different so I'm talking about accessories, tweaks, speakers and cables. Will be going there next month.

Be careful of the Koreans. First it is language barrier, secondly they tend to be inpatient and expect you to swallow what they say. Anyway the pricing is more expensive than Malaysia and in my personal opinion dont waste your time.....go sightseeing and enjoy their food. When thinking of hifi around that region, think of Hong Kong.....Taiwan.

Hi, Overall price is more or less same as local price but you get a lot more options to choose from even for 2nd units. Maybe due to living standard different accessories like cable are at least 150usd an above for starting. I recommend that you visit above mention location just to have an idea the level of different between us and korean hifi retailer. By the way you might wanna bring someone who speaks thier language with you english speakers are extremely limited.. to none.. Voltage in korea is 220v.. hope above help
