Many Linn owners are hands-on enthusiasts and keeping handy spares for the Linn is good practice, as you can replace mal-functioning units without having to go "hungry" for indeterminate periods without music in our lives during repair. Springs on suspended sub-chassis sag and get "tired" after years of service - a change of springs can restore sonic performance!
