Technics ST-S1 Analogue FM/AM Stereo Tuner (SOLD)

Vintage Technics ST-S1 analog FM/AM Stereo Tuner. Weighted flywheel "slide rule" analog tuning with heavy aluminum knob. Made in Japan in the late 70's. This is one of the last "large chassis" models, before the industry went to the current slim designs. Technics went all out by incorporating the Super-Heterodyne with servo locking technology. The traditional amber back-lit dial coupled with modern servo tuning/signal strength LED strength meters was also cool for the day. However; with a MSRP of around $250 CDN, it was considered a bit pricy. Used, but in good working condition. Some of the specifications are below...
