HiFi repair required - any suggestion pls?

Hi all

I'm looking for a good repair technician/shop to repair my Shanling CD player. The CD player (CDT-100) doesn't recognise the cd when one is inserted.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Most probably the optic lens have kaput.

there are not many competent hi-fi repairers around. try mr oh at 012-2060888. he lives in oug, kl.

Yeah, I've seen Mr Oh & ImpactZone mentioned. Just wanna get some more feedback from members if there's other technicians around. Will probably give Mr Oh a call later.

Mr Oh is the nicest repair master I ever meet, look no other.

At least he brought new life to my good sounding cdp for a resonable price, with good service too.

For any repair job the cost will vary depending on the severity of the fault and time spent to diagnos.

You have two choices :

1. Send to the dealer you purchased the CD player

or

2. Send it in to Mr Oh for a quote. Decide after the quote.

As for me, he has resurrected life back into my cherished audio gear where others have pulled it off the "life support system" .
