there are quite a few dealers to choose from... also depends on what budget you're looking at.

There's Jabent Network at Subang Jaya, SS15 opposite Asia Cafe... good place to start for budget amps.

What phones are you using?

Haha opar, it's Jaben actually. =)

viboys88, Jaben will be the place to go.

Here's their thread over at Lowyat.net:

They have all the stuff you need at all ranges of budget, giving only the best recommendations, and they are very, very friendly. (no more lansi cases! =P)

If you're not staying anywhere close you can always give them a call, they can also arrange postage for you, and even give you advises through the phone, they're that accommodating. =)

viboy, a lot depends on what your budget is and what music you listen too.

I am using Musical Fidelity XCAN V2. Like most British amps, the sound is warm, not high on bass but well balanced with treble of course. I am using Bose over the headphones.

Jaben is a good place to start your hunting.

viboys88, check out Jaben Malaysia's forum. You can get a rough idea of the products they carry.

Google any of the items and you're bound to find info on them

Best approach is to listen to the components because your preferences will be different from others.

Good customer service but...

Post by edwinxx on Mon Jul 05, 2010 12:14 pm

I have visited Jaben before to audition their products. One of their strong point is that they are willing to let you try their headphones before buying. So no doubt you can trust your ears and try before purchasing. Moreover they have many choices of headphone related product as they are specialising in headphone items. Their price is competitive also. They like to throw in bundles Smile

If there's one thing I would complain is maybe their salesmen is a bit closeminded. Once I saw this customer brought a Creek headphone amp, and the salesmen immediately condemned the headphone amp, even though he has never tried it or even know its existense. I feel disappointed with that attitude because as audiophiles, we can never judge how good an item is by just looking at it. I feel like if customer bring products not brought from Jaben he will be pissed off. But I guess that is business.

Other than that, great place to go Smile . Your one stop headphone store solution
