Speaker design : 2 way rear ported in quasi 3rd order alignment.
Tweeter : Seas 1" aluminum dome with star shaped foam diffusion mask
Driver : Seas 8 "poly woofer with excursion limiting shorting coil. This helps prevent damage from overdriving.
Enclosure : narrow baffle miter box with asymmetrical bracing.
Strengths : detail, neutrality, articulation, non-fatiguing to listen to, nice impact for size. Transparent, fast and open midrange with nice bass weight and punch.
Setup : they should be on short stands (10"-12" with spikes), at least 6" from the back wall.
