IMO, it should be around 10k -15k for the basic CD3/nait3/allea + cap

I think you can go for Naim Nait3 1st (2k-3k) later only go for CD player and speaker. It should be the cheapest among the all.

Naim speaker will be the most expensive and hard to get in Malaysia second hand market.

good luck for your searching.

What kind of music you listen to, and do you prefer lean and detailed or a sweeter and lush kind of presentation? PRaT and dynamics will still be retained with the latter due to the inherent characteristics of the Naim amps.

Naim speakers for lean and detailed.

Spendor, Harbeth, Sonus Fabers for sweeter and lusher presentation. FWIW only the higher-range SF speakers sound good IMO and you are better off with the unbeatable value of the Harbeth, followed by Spendors.

Depending on your budget. Harbeth P3ESR and Compact 7ES3 are worth looking at. Spendor latest SP series are good but considerably more costly. For Sonus Fabers I read about a Cremona Auditor M owner who got good results with Naims. You can also look for Proacs(Tablette 50 Sigs or Reference 8 Sigs). They have an upfront and lean sound and possess excellent imaging qualities. As for Naim speakers, Chewkw can probably shed some light since he is an ardent fan of all things regarding Naim.

Alternatively you can visit the Naim forum for more information. Apart from Naim speakers, most folks use Kudos, Neats, Harbeth, Spendors, Proacs and a couple more others.

I believe Naim Credo loudspeaker is natural partner for 72/180. I was using it with 202/200 before upgrading to Allae.

Naim speakers do not sound thin, shrill or splashy if you partner it correctly.

Once I used Nait 5i with Credo, cannot listen.

So underpowered amplifier is the main problem and not Naim speaker design.

Best follow Naim recommendation.

Credo sold.

SBL will be better option. Arriva is entry level and sound very A/V to me. Arriva has very short product life-span, so it is a failure.

FRAIM is very costly, please check with local dealer.

Forget about the Fraim as a 2-tier will probably cost more than your 2nd hand Naim amps.

One last advice -- please make an effort to listen to several speakers before making a decision. Some speakers can sound very different from one another. For example, in the speakers being discussed here Spendors and Harbeths sound quite alike while Naim and Spendor/Harbeth sound very different.
