Last Fri- the 'special one' finally sounded better...thanks to the 'room heater', it manage to meet some of our esteem listeners approval. So, base on our listening experience and limited equipments, it needs power and it should be SS.

Back home-
I also manage to listen to another not so 'legend' equipment, the 7, Super VIP.
Compare to the 'Steffi', the Super VIP 7 sounded more smooth, offers better soundstage. 2 different 'beast' again, what you prefer. But I like this too.
The 7, 8 & Steffi combi is really quite good
This coming Friday.....what shoot out? We got snakes, we got the 7, or maybe we use the french? Silver spinners??

How good if the 7 could show up that night to play alongside the 'legend'.

Hmm.. a lot of good stuffs! It is no more of 'which is better sound, better performer' but more of "the meeting". Such astute meeting of the vintage is indeed rare that provide good reference for those who were present in the listening. In any which piece of them all, the pride of ownership reign.

Thanks for sharing, I wish I was there to witness it and could have brought some of mine to party too as they are sitting on the shelf collecting dust.

I must congratulate NSAG for being a friendly bunch made up of rather diverse individuals and yet can remain very open minded manner on all things hi-fi. Given this to other audio group elsewhere, the 'hi-fi' can become rather 'Fi-Hi' between the individuals within the group. I only attended 2 matches at Wembley, and I enjoyed both of the outings very much. Keep up the good spirit!

The 'important meeting' is always welcome just that, there is no fish porridge but got one very good chicken porridge if you guy are up to it. Otherwise, we can have BKT with fatty, shaky and glimmering skin!! Just give me a date will do.
